The old (2020) PMCC came with wall plugs that appear to be 2 feet in length (the newer PMCC comes with 1 foot cords) for both standard and 14-50 plugs.

The old also comes with a safety rating of 16A for both cords. The newer one of the 14-50 states 15A/24A/40A.

Question - the standard wall outlet plugged PMCC gives me 6A to 8A options. I've selected 6A to be safe - any thoughts?
1. I believe even 2020 PMCC has a pigtail that is 1 ft. long. Mine is 2020 and it is 1ft. That is to meet UL requirements.

2. The 16A label is a typo. There is a TSB about it.

3. Using 6Amps at 110v was one of the several Porsche documented reasons for the 12v battery drainage. At this setting the car was not getting enough power to charge and it was staying on while connected to the charger. Before the WMA5 update they asked customers to increase to more than 6A. It is unclear if WMA5 fixed this issue.
