I’m sorry but I fail to see the point.

The wheels look like they will almost scrape the wheel wells in this configuration, and will if the car lowers itself further during a drive.

It’s like the kids who put Japanese racing stickers all over their Hondas IMO.

Questionable benefit, huge downside.
Go weep somewhere else!

OP is in Belgium. I am not sure that the road network conditions of (some parts of) the US transpose to Europe, both in terms of various debris and bumpiness. I can understand the concern in the US given the generally poor level of road maintenance and cleaning, but in Europe, why not ? And it looks darn good.

You must be joking. Outside of maybe switzerland, and a few autobahns, road are nowhere near good enough for that kind of lowered driving in europe. Hell, in italy all autobahns have metal links / lines every 10-20m on certain regions for earhquake movments i assume. Hit one of those at speed with your car lowered, because they are not in good conditon ever, and you leave the full battery hanging on it.

Hell, cities are full of road bumps so you don't speed; which a taycan can hit sometimes even when not fully lowered. Fully lowered with lowered mod will leave half of the car on one of those bumps.

Anyone can do what they want with their property, but it is for sure risky for the wallet to lower a taycan even more than default

I don’t understand the kids who “stance” their wheels either. This is a fad where the camber is so effed up that the car drives on the edges of the rims. Completely idiotic and can’t possibly be safe.

I thought this is the Taycan Ultra Long Range mod, with the entire space (trunk, frunk, all passenger seats removed, filled with batteries). 450KWh, 10,000lb curb weight, 550 miles of range (weight hurts efficiency too)! The car is riding so low due to all the extra weight of the batteries.

I confirm that in Italy in low mode, pneumatic suspensions are essential, especially in residential areas due to bumps. I believe it is an indispensable optional and has saved me on several occasions. Having said that, I wouldn't lower the car any further because aesthetically I don't find it any more beautiful, I practically always travel in low mode which is more than sufficient. However, I respect the choice, probably often to be able to use the car you will have to travel in normal or raised mode. But beyond aesthetics, the guarantee???

FYI, the Belgian roads are in good condition in comparison with the rest of Europe. I live in the nothern of Belgium where the roads are better maintained then the south. And in comparison with the US roads... well, there's no comparison because American roads are disastrous. I've been there... So, please spare me all your concern about my battery!!

I really appreciate the lift feature on our GTS. Saves us on even “not so steep” driveways. Can’t imagine lowering the car more than it will go in the lowest setting.
Yes me too... My GTS is so low in range or sport plus mode. Almost too low.

I can only assume OP drops the car when he parks it for the looks while not moving.

No, not joking. I am not sure where this strange cocktail of sour righteousness and sarcasm comes from (other than the frustration of having bought a flawed v1.0 product ?), but objectively, it is hard to rationalize those comments.

A Taycan sedan has a ground clearance of 127 mm at normal ride height. 148mm in lift, 104~105mm in range/Sport+ mode. It is arguably low, but a GT3 RS is also at 100mm, a 488 at 110 mm. Maybe the first zone of impact is not a pricey battery pack on those, but i would go anywhere in Europe with this (because i already have with such cars).

And speed bumps are not the issue, any sedan will scrape the front guard lips or even bottom out on the most aggressive ones taken too fast.

So if OP enjoys his dropped ride height because it arguably looks good, i don't think that there are grounds (pun intended) to be that critical.
