Remote access sketchy

Collected my Turbo S yesterday and despite being logged in on the PCM and app remote access didn’t work. I tried logging out on PCM and in again and I had remote access briefly but it’s gone again despite the car having a good mobile signal. I’m guessing this is a common issue…

That happened to me as well right after I took delivery. It takes a few days for the car to be acknowledged as “sold“ by Porsche’s servers.

When taking delivery of your Taycan, do not drive away from the dealer's lot until you confirm you have remote access to the car with MyPorsche app on your phone and Porsche website. (and green light shows near rear-view mirror.)

Umm, thanks for that, I wasn’t given a rule book, and the green light is on.

In case anyone else is having this issue this very hacky fix worked for me:

Try adding yourself to Accounts (PCM) a second time, you will get an error that you’re already logged into the car but very shortly after that my remote access started working. It’s such a bad fix which must just cause the Porsche servers to refresh data.
