I own a 2023 Taycan Cross Turismo with technology package and an active Porsche Connect subscription. Initially I was able to use remote parking with my iPhone 15. A few months back, it stopped wofor me as my phone would not connect anymore. Please see the screenshot below.. I contacted Porsche and they advised me take the car in. When my car was in for service, the advisor was able to connect his iPhone and use remote parking. I do not remember what version iPhone he was using, it may have been an iPhone 16. I then tried connecting with another

iPhone and still am unable to connect.
I researched the forums and there are some posts from 2 years ago. Their solution was to erase their iPhone and restore it from a backup without the My Porsche app, then reinstalling the My Porsche app. Since then both iPhones and the app have had multiple updates.
Has anyone else’s had this issue and found a solution? I prefer not to have to reset my phone, it may not even solve the issue at this point.

You may want to try turning off any VPN you are using (if you are using a VPN).
My GPS would not work properly in CarPlay for a number of months but after changing phones when it initially worked and then stopped working it was because I had turned on my VPN.
Hope this helps.

Thank you for your reply, I checked and my VPN is not enabled.

Presumably your phone does have a network connection? And the car has one too?

Yes, the car has an active Porsche connect contract and other remote features are working fine. The phone does have a 5G connection.

Yeah, Remote Park Assist is a tempremental feature. I usually have to close and reopen the app several times until I can start the damn thing.

That error sounds like a temporary server outage though.

I wonder if they had some outage or downtime yesterday (july 27).
I had the same experience. It declared the car unreachable, but it was reachable just fine for remote door locking and such.

I know it's touchy in that it requires the Phone to have coverage and GPS, the car has to have good GPS signal and Verizon LTE, then it has to be in range of BTLE, and the key fob has to be close enough, so it ends up looking more like walking-the-dog than anything remote.

It won't work if you've ever restored your phone from a backup (icloud or otherwise). If you have ever done this, then delete the app, wait about 10 mins for the cache to clear and re-install.

There was a recent app update and since then the remote parking feature seems to be working again. I will test and let you know. Thank you for your help.

Still broken, fails to connect every time.

This whole feature has been an overhyped wet fart.
