Can definitely relate. In my profession whenever we're the majority owner we forbid other co-owners from broadcasting new and encouraging results, especially if they're desperately seeking something to boost their stock price.

I hope those workers negotiated a sweet deal for themselves, including raises, a golden parachute payout should they be let go again, and a backup parachute to protect themselves in case Tesla just ghosts them next time they let them go (something along the lines of Tesla assigning some intellectual property rights to the let go person in the event they do not pay the golden parachute).

If they haven’t, then they came back out of desperation, meaning they will leave as soon as they find another job.
