Our Fiat 500 EV took a screw to the tyre and is flat. Pluggable or is it too close to the sidewall ?

Close enough. I would replace whole tyre and if over 10k km replace on both side depends how deep the wear was.

Ask a tyre specialist / fitter as they should be obligated to provide the correct advice.

My guess is that its too close to plug.

I had a similar screw in my rear tire...and at first I thought it was vandalism. Upon reflection, I concluded that frozen snow stood up the screw so it could stab the tire in the side wall

All good again. Specific factory tyre fitted – and it was hard enough to locate. As the car was underivable - was quicker to call a mobile tyre van than have it flat-bedded to a shop.

FWIW: Fiat dealer didn't do tyres. Where as I find Porsche Centre Dublin very competitive tyre wise. And I trust them more with my carbon ceramic discs.
