Is anyone successful and satisfied with Spotify in the Taycan PCM?
I have Connected service and good coverage in the 2024 Taycan 4S, and a Spotify Premium membership trial, but the Spotify player in Media is just terrible.

It can't seem to play more than one or two songs without completely stopping with the "buffering" circle. The album art often does not match the song playing. The Next button might play the same song again, or jump to another song that is not buffered and ready.

Podcasts pause often, and music will often just stop and never restart. Through all of this, I have excellent LTE coverage according to the status. It feels like a weak/intermittent connectivity problem, but also just really bad handling in the PCM App itself. It doesn't appear to buffer or download anything in advance, and the whole App interface feels sluggish, disconnected, and buggy.

(Spotify through my phone and Android Auto is flawless, of course, even wirelessly from my pocket)

Same problem here with my MY21 4S. Android Auto Spotify works perfectly, but PCM Spotify is rubbish with exactly the symptoms you describe.

Same problem here in my 24 Taycan 4S. I just wish Porsche outsource the entertainment and nav piece to experts cuz they clearly cannot do this well.

Give up on Spotify with the native/PCM app. Spent a month on and off with the "expert" at the dealer trying all sorts of things to get it to work. Like you, mine worked just fine going through my phone. The car would buffer, drop out, not show the artwork, pop up a QR code for me to long in again. Just did not work. Sirius though works perfectly. So resign yourself to using your phone and avoid the headache that comes from beating your head against the PCM and getting nowhere.

Wow, both encouraging to know I'm not alone and didn't miss something, and disappointing that it's in such a sorry state.

Thanks for the confirmation -- just in time to cancel my Spotify Premium trial.
