Where is it? The homage, I mean..

Oh, found it - it’s in dark lettering on the rear hatch. Nice ? ?

I would like it more without the door decals. But otherwise kind of cool.

All you need now is a diesel powered charging station to tow into the desert.

I don't get it. Especially the roof-rack and the Ferrari sticker on the charging cover door. Why not buy something designed to go off road. It reminds me of one of the cars from the 50s and 60s made water-tight and equipped with a propeller.

You should google where Ferrari stole their sticker. Hint, it’s from Stuttgart.

I'm curious, do tell.

I really don't like the Ferrari sticker on the charge port.
It's just stupid.
Now it looks like you fancy a Ferrari but can "only" afford a Porsche...

Otherwise the car looks very cool, love it!
Bold choice of stripes but it looks great! ??

The prancing horse on a yellow background is the coat of arms of Stuttgart, tracing back to its origin (in the 10th century) as a stud farm (die Stute = mare). According to legend, Ferry hurriedly designed the Porsche logo at Max Hoffman's request, combining elements from the coat of arms of Wuerttemberg (the antlers and colors) with the coat of arms of Stuttgart, where his dad founded their engineering company after leaving Daimler Benz and Auto Union.

Enzo picked a prancing horse as the symbol of his cars in deference/respect to a friend, who was merely an equestrian enthusiast. Over there in Maranello, they're mainly growing grapes and apparel boutiques.

To my knowledge the prancing horse of Ferrari was the symbol used on Italian World War I ace Francesco Baracca's fighter plane and has nothing to do with Stuttgart/Porsche or am i missing something?

According to ClaudeAI and cross checked with other AI's:

The horse on the Ferrari logo, known as the "Cavallino Rampante" (Prancing Horse in English), has an interesting origin story. It comes from Francesco Baracca, a famous Italian fighter pilot during World War I.

Baracca used to paint a prancing horse on the side of his planes as a personal emblem. After he became a national hero in Italy, the prancing horse became associated with good luck and victory.

In 1923, Enzo Ferrari, the founder of Ferrari, met Count Enrico Baracca, Francesco's father, and Francesco's mother, Countess Paolina. The Countess suggested that Ferrari use the prancing horse on his cars, believing it would bring him good luck.

Enzo Ferrari took up the suggestion and adopted the prancing horse as the logo for his racing team, Scuderia Ferrari, in 1932. When he started producing road cars under the Ferrari brand in 1947, he continued to use the emblem.

Ferrari made some modifications to the original design:

  1. He changed the horse's tail to point upward instead of downward.
  2. He added a yellow background, which is the color of Modena, his hometown.
  3. He placed the initials S.F. (for Scuderia Ferrari) at the bottom.
This iconic logo has since become one of the most recognizable automotive emblems in the world, symbolizing speed, power, and Italian racing heritage.

Edit:

The horse on the Porsche logo has a connection to the city of Stuttgart, Germany, where the company was founded. The logo features a prancing horse at its center, which comes from the coat of arms of Stuttgart. Stuttgart’s name derives from “Stutengarten,” which means “stud farm” in Old High German, reflecting the region’s historical association with horse breeding.

So, the Porsche logo and the Ferrari logo have absolutely nothing to do with each other. In fact, the Porsche logo was created after the Ferrari logo.

You may be quoting the wrong post. I didn’t say anything different, merely explained the two logos are unrelated.
