My issue was resolved by replacing the entire high voltage battery. The car was out of service for one month. After some prodding, PCNA reimbursed me for the amount of one lease payment.

Yes would be really interesting to see the percentage of these battery issues based on MY20/21/22/23.This thread was insightful, but I didn’t get through every comment.
Curious, are these issues persistent with the 23 and 24 model years as well or are they lingering issues with the earlier years?

Anyone found any statistics for this?
If its really QC issue one would expect the percentage to go down over the years as they improved QC
Thank you so much for this incredibly informative thread. I am learning so much about my Taycan & its battery system which it's very hard to get out of my service advisor or the maintenance manager. All I know is that they say it takes a very specialized team to do battery module replacements and my dealership has no one on staff locally which can do a battery module replacement. I've also been told the vehicle diagnostics will clearly indicate when there is a problem with the battery system so they can do further tests to determine what corrective action/parts replacement is required."Cell pouch 5 in module 1 was out of tolerance at 0.4V of a volt difference..."
"Cell module 20 was found to have a possible future fault. Vehicle needs cell module 1 and 20 replaced"
Exact wording on service receipt.
