The light itself will be the same like you see it on this Picture. Just without the glass Panel in front of it.
You mean the one in the bumper?
I'm not sure if I like that...
What purpose do these lights have?

No, there won't be any Lights on the bumper. This is just a fake decal from the Panamera Lights because it's a prototype. It will be gone in the production car.

@PAG_J1 without the glass panel will it not be very difficult to clean with what appears to be several small deep gaps in and around the design? Having said that I’m hopeful I’ve understood you correctly, I’m sure it makes the headlight much sharper. Just to be sure are you referring to the glass the red arrow is pointing to? Thanks

Yes, at least this was the case on the production cars I saw.

In that case I think it will have the glass on.
Just for practical and obvious reasons.
It would be strange they test it with the glass on while the production model wouldn't have them...
Imho of course.

Yeah, and the Cross Turismo concept (very close the production model of the Taycan in a lot of ways) also had glass panels.

It will be a big surprise for me if there is no glass. Can't wait to see the final design.

PAG_J1, we already that the car will have HUD! But how about augmented reality? Porsche made a video some year or so about windshileld augmented reality and we know that the 2019 VW ID3 will offer this! Any news on this?

I think in a bright color, it'll look much better.
Also the vents at the front and sides.
The "spoilers" at the sides at the bottom will also look better, now it all fades into the black.
Not to mention the diffuser at the back.
It'll all look better in a light color, I suspect.

Agree, I want to see the car in white as it should show all of the curves.

Dear PAG_J1

Thank you so much for investing your time and sharing information!

My question is:
Does the Taycan have access to google maps? so that you dont always have to put in the full address and can just put in building names to navigate etc.

Thank you in advance

Yeah maybe true, if only that it'll be the same colour as the Mission E

The production models I saw are normally the same as the customer cars. The first customer cars will be produced after world premiere, but the production line is already the same. They can't change it anymore.

I didn't tested the car on the streets. All I know is that they invested in this technology last year..but doesn't have to mean that it will be in the Taycan.

Could be possible, but I don't really know much about the infotainment system. But they has to install different regional PCM's of every car, because some advices are forbidden in some countries (China, USA...)

Saw it once in dark red with carbon accents. This was a totally different car to the black mules.

PAG_J1, do you happen to have from that covered car a side/profile photo than you can share?

Also, do you have news on if Porsche on next few days/week they will do some teases or something like that about the car?

The latest teases kinda suck!

Kind Regards.
