Ah yeah I’ve got the same rims but Pirelli rubber so the pressures will be different (as we discovered in the thread a few weeks ago).

This is the plate from mine on the Turbo (saloon)…

It’s in the owners manual
It seems the manual is showing this in some markets. For my manual, paper or in the app, there is nothing. MY20 though so maybe it was Included at a later stage?

I only have my plate in the car plus the PCM information.

Here is my plate with 21 inch Mission E with Eagle F1 tyres.

The plate is too generic, go by the manual which lists charts for full load, partial load, wheel size and tire type. It's the pressure for those permutations that the PCM will show deltas to.

I had to look at my plaque twice to be sure!
My plate shows the reverse of this.
Seems a bit bonkers.
Is the above photo a Turbo?
Mine is a GTS.
It’s the reverse at low load
2.6 front 2.7 back.
At high load it’s flips to same as above
with lower pressure at the front.
Seems illogical to me but then I am not an automotive engineer.
Pirelli’s on mine by the way but that should be irrelevant to the plate

The opposite in my experience. The plate as fitted to the Taycan seems extremely specific to the market and make of the tyre fitted, even on exactly the same rim size and tyre profile.

There are no pressures listed in my (electronic) manual. It just points you to check the plate.

I think I commented on this before... either I'm totally outdated or these plates are very weird. Every single car of mine has/had a tire plate with all factory approved combos and respective pressures at half and full load. One size per row.

How come Taycans (or is it a Porsche thing?) come with the plate matching the tire dimensions mounted at factory? That's like a tattoo stating "No matter what rims/tires you see, I was born with these..." 😂

The correct pressure is tyre make dependant too.
This is a photo of a page from my sports car manual showing same size tyres from 4 performance tyre makers and the recommended pressures vary hugely.
Fronts from 27 psi on Michelin to 38 psi on Goodyear is huge.

Indeed. On this particular Porsche car inflation pressures seem dependant on all these factors:

- Taycan model (and year)
- Rim / tyre size
- Make of tyre
- (intended market of car. eg EMEA vs NA)

Obviously also load dependent - as reflected in the paper manual and plate for a given combo above.

Yes it is a MY20 Turbo. And like said above I have nothing in my manual, not the app manual nor the car electronic, nor the printed french manual.

Very interesting that the recommended pressures vary so much between manufacturers!

Something to consider and take into account when switching brands!!!

That is a surprising difference in pressure recommendations. Will need to ask Porsche service about this if I want to switch brand at some stage. the service advisor is doing a lot of track racing so he would have good knowledge about this. Not with a Porsche car though.

The plate has no knowledge of whether you've changed your wheels/tires.

There is lots of detail in the Technical Data section of your manual. Go to My Porsche -> Manual -> Technical Data -> Wheels and Tires. There, you can look up recommended pressures for your specific Taycan model, wheel size, tire type. The pressures there assume you have NF0 tires, of course.

Tip: Navigating to the technical data section didn't work for me just now. Workaround: search for "Technical Data" in the electronic manual search, and then go from there.
