I think someone already mentioned it, but not that there are a few different variants of Superchargers, whereas some are easier to charge at than others.
It seems like especially the newer ones are more commonly placed next to the parking spot rather than behind it like some of the older ones are.
Here's an example of a V3 Supercharger where there are no issues whatsoever for the relatively short cable to reach:
