Less than one month later, another NWA

This time it's the newest model from Korean microbrand Pitzmann, creatively titled Pitzmann III

It's my first automatic chronograph (I own a manual wind, and two quartz) and uses the relatively new Seiko 8R48 automatic movement that is currently only found in their new automatic SRQ-04X series chronos and a few other micro brands. It's one of the lowest priced vertical clutch, column wheel Chrono movement on the market currently.
Also priced at $1300, its at least half the price of the Seiko automatic Speedtimer version and with slightly smaller dimensions for better wear ability:

40mm case/41mm ceramic bezel, 13mm thickness and 47mm lug to lug, solid case back, 50m WR, 45h PR.

Stunning watch.
I much prefer that to a Daytona. It's a lot more legible. I find Daytona too fussy.
Great colour scheme on that too.

Have had a Class 4 El Primero for around 20yrs. Beautiful, underrated watches. (Shame Zenith went through a phase of bling/trying to hard.... But they seem to be back on terra firma now).

I’m one of those weird people who like to be able to easily read the time from their watch. This particular watch would not be a good one for me even though the design is cool looking.

Still there. My son and I were going to do lunch, but he had to get back to the city for a wedding. The weather has turned gorgeous and the whole area was hopping.

So I picked up a Swatchpain Fifty Fathoms in Vegas last weekend, all the regular Moonswatch and Blancpain variants are now in stock, I simply walked in, swiped my CC and walked out with the watch:

I don't care for the stock NATO and didn't bother wearing it until I ordered an aftermarket fitted rubber strap, which arrived this weekend, Big improvement overall

Here’s a watch that treats the owner like the hiccup in time he really is. There’s a gear in this watch that rotates once every 400 years! So you might see maybe 45° of rotation during your ownership experience (unless you cheat and spin into the distant future). Anybody else find this depressing?

A tour de force of watchmaking and attractive to boot. Just introduced at Watches & Wonders. Why settle for perpetual when you can have eternal?

It came with a little wax sealed phial in the packaging containing parts needed to updaye it in 2200...
