Will charging door close automatically if you start driving?

Not so comfortable having to turn off a bunch of things in the PCM to be able to wash

as cars become more and more like mobile computers you will be forced to embrace the tech.

True, but it is the same for other cars with Comfort Access as well. Range Rover Sport is one. So not specific a Taycan issue.

I was washing my car and it opened a couple times... You guys have any idea how to avoid that? btw: my trunk also opened while washing...

Lock the car would seem an obvious measure.

Disable comfort opening during washing.

Press the button "open" and "close" at the same time a few seconds until the light on the key don't flash. The Comfort Access is deactivated until you press any button.

True. The message was somewhat cryptic and made me think there was a problem with the charge door. Then I remembered that someone on this forum said this could happen and I went out to check and I was immediately relieved to find that it was the cause.

But seriously, how hard is it to make the CCS-door springloaded?

Maybe we can suggest for Porsche on the next software upgrade, a "cleaning-mode" when whashing our Taycans, similar like the "jack-mode" when changing our wheels? Just a thought . . .
