I just want to crack it open an inch…..Why is the window so slow to come down when you hold the button? But then when you press it all the way down it goes down by itself fast.

Not sure but I've noticed the speed varies if the car is powered on or not (before the driver's door is opened and has just been powered off). It is slower when powered off - I guess to save energy.

I laugh, because I thought the exact thing when I first got it (still do), these windows are the slowest I have ever had when you pull the switch a little.
If it starts to annoy you, just push down quick through the 'click' (for auto up/down) where it speets up, then pull the opposite direction when it gets where you want. It is a little quirky to me, but think it it just, is what it is.
Perhaps someone in design thought it was a greater benefit to fine tune where it stopped by going 'slow' vs. up/down/up/down? I have no idea, but I agree they are slow :)

Exact same thing in my Panamera Turbo. Not unique to the Taycan.
