Any ideas / experience on this forum how much time it would take for the dealer to prepare the car for delivery ?

Mine was in production between feb 18 and 25, and left the factory one of the first days of march. It arrived in Belgium 3 weeks later (around the 22nd) and was at the dealer another week later. I took delivery last week (April 7th).

Hi mine was meant to be 27/4 and now I’ve been told it’s going to be 27/5 so that’s a 4 weeks delay

Mine has been showing that for 3 weeks. Originally 3/31 change freeze. 4/15 production. 6/17 arrival at dealer… Talked to my SA yesterday and he says there is no production date… What were your dates previously?

Delivery should have been on the first week of April. Pushed to late May now...

On the MyPorsche page my car VIN number is already showing though. Is this normal!?? Does it mean the car already exists? I thought the serial number should be the last thing to "pop up".

Any feedback welcome!


P.S. - been waiting for the car since November 2021. These last 2 months have been difficult to wait, haha

Mine told me it takes 2 weeks from production finished to delivery.

I will wait and see. Would je nice if I could pick
it up next weekend. Don’t know if they are opened Saturday with eastern. And the wheel arches need to be painted. Shouldn’t take long and the parts should have been ordered. And could already have been painted, don’t know if they did. Then it would only consist in taking the black ones of and installing the new ones.

They have already activated my car and sent me the code so I can see it in the My Porsche app. Can’t track it jet because I have to enter a code in the car.

keep us posted! Just got notified a couple days from my SA ago the vin was generated. Does anyone know at what stage a vin is generated? My car was originally scheduled for production in March then got pushed back 4 weeks to April 8.TYD doesn’t show any updates saying it’s in production. I really hope it starts soon! Allocation was in Oct. 2021 and the freeze date in Jan. It’s been a looooong wait. Ordered a Turbo in Jet Black with sport aero wheels

Mine was also activated immediately after it left the factory. But did take 5 weeks to get it delivered (was also hoping for 2/3 weeks) ;-) No alarm issues so far.
