Ordering 2021 Taycan RWD
Country flag
Mine is 2021 RWD. The 100% range was about 300miles (a bit over) 3 years ago.

I almost exclusively charged from the EA DC chargers, as there' multiple of them around my home.

I didn't care much about the 80% line, and casually charged over 90% (not over 95% tho).

It's been quite warm (or hot..), and my range is still about 300 miles as in this picture (60% 180miles). These days, I see 290~300 range.

Either it's from a better s/w, the range hasn't degraded much.

So, plz don't worry about the batter too much as you charge at DC.

This is pretty impressive. We would be curious to find out your SoH reading, which is a better measure of degradation of the battery and impact on range than what the car may be reporting. I am only 9k miles and about a year in and my SoH is 91% after being 99.95% when new.

Wow - this is impressive. I have a Cross Turismo 4S, 3 years old, 29000 miles. Max 100% charge shows 204 miles FULLY CHARGED. As soon as I unplug it goes down to circa 195 miles and after 2 minutes driving shows about 185 miles. The car is simply too much of an inconvenience and does not return anything near what it is supposed to. Will not be looking at another when I change it which I cannot afford to do currently as the resale value has dropped so much and this is another reason why I will not buy another.

i think the key factor here is the climate the car is operating in -outside temp is shown as 28 degrees-those of us in Northern climates operate more that 10 degrees C below that ( and a lot lower in winter) - we all see the degradation of range as the temperature cools, so no surprise the vehicles operate so differently

2022 4S cross turismo 33000miles DC charge once a month. 260 miles range 100% when new, 295 miles just this week (25 Celsius summer both numbers with aircon turned off, aircon turned on 280 miles). I’m impressed the range has actually improved significantly over the 3 years 33000 miles ownership.

I have a ‘21 TT (46k miles) and have been exclusively DC charging since Day 1. Max 100% charge is 260 miles/no AC (245 miles/with AC). How do I check my SoH? My dealership says they don’t give that reading out to customers.

That seems typical for the standard battery, but If you have the larger capacity battery you should ask a dealer to check if the battery warranty is being met (80% at 3 years). Note 21” wheels lower range by c. 10%.

Refer your dealer to this 2022 newsroom article.
https://newsroom.porsche.com/en/202...h-voltage-battery-reparation-sales-26854.html
In order to meet its customers’ interest in the capacity and condition of the high-voltage battery, Porsche made early efforts to enable analysis for the Taycan in workshops using Porsche diagnostic equipment. Details of the readout process were sent out to Porsche Centres at the beginning of March 2022, enabling them to read out the data independently and send it to customers. Porsche also plans to offer an app solution that will enable customers themselves to find out the health status of their vehicle.

Dealers should be checking and communicating the SofH when selling used and at the 3 year 80% warranty milestone - but they’re not.
If your dealer is unable to assist refer it to Porsche Customer Services. Escalate to the importer’s CEO if you don’t get anywhere.

My Ct4S from March 2022 / 7500 miles shows 200 miles at 80% consistently through summer months. Keeping to the uk speed limit though as too many cameras and camera vans around. Just been on a 1200 mile trip with 3 miles per kWh recorded.

Hi Sean
I have 2022 RWD and covered 45,000 miles, i must confess I often charge to 100% as I have some quite long trips and avoids stopping and charging en-route. My car still showed today a range of over 300 miles fully charged and easily does this on the road. Summer in the UK best i get is 330 miles, in the winter UK more like 280 miles. My normal road trip is straight dual carriageway road at 60mph which is good for miles per kwh about 4.0 on average for the last year.
I have new car coming next month...looking forward to the extra range ;-)

The guess o meter can be misleading. Do you have a readout from a OBD scanner?

When the dealer did a health test which charges and drains the battery to very low SoC and leaves it for a day or 2 in a few cycles it resolved this issue. My range is fantastic again for a car that has 55k miles my summer mileage seems to be about 245 in real terms. (Will confirm this weekend as I have a road trip).
