I would say yes, but if they came back and said it would cause additional delays (doubtful but you never know), I would keep the original build.

This sucks for everyone waiting on their delivery. Mine got delivered few months back, but honestly I did had a scary thoughts of something like this few times when mine was onboarded and on way.

mine was on the same ship, was car less thanks to Tesla delaying and lying about my model S. I would have been real butt hurt if my car was on this route. Glad everyone is OK on board.

I had one of the cars that fell between the cracks for 6 months and always half heartedly joked that maybe it fell into the Atlantic or some pirates took it and Porsche didnt want to break the news. Once I was actually on the ship ( Felicity Ace no less) I thought of all the things that could go wrong.

Craziness in this market environment- glad all the crew are safe and hopefully you guys are made whole quickly.

That said, with 70k annual sales in the US, that's less than a week of production, so it ideally shouldn't impact the overall supply chain by too much (crossing my fingers as someone with a GTS ST scheduled to go into production in about a month). Heck, looking at worldwide delivery of 300k cars last year, that's maybe only two days of production if people are looking for a bit of hope
