Taycan Turbo Delivered / Trim question

Finally joined the club and picked up my Taycan Turbo ST

awesome car ? and I’ve noted only minor extremely first world problems so far, but that’s what this forum’s for ;-)

Apart from wireless charger being difficult to to access / impossible to line up with my iPhone 12 Max (highlighted by lots of people here already), only question I have is on the trim.

Anyone have any imperfections where the leather joins just above the vents in the middle on the dash - not sure if I have an issue or if the leather and fit here is usually slightly “imperfect”. Interesting that the join is covered up by a piece of plastic. Wouldn’t bother me except that it’s in line of sight.

Also some of the other interior trim - eg where the carpet joins the sides of the seats in the back, and where the steering column joins the dash, seems a little “flexible” given the price point and the solidity of the car otherwise - is this normal?

I have the standard interior and mine is slightly imperfect there also. I’ll get a pic later. I wondered if the plastic trim piece was maybe pushing on it weird and causing it. But it hasn’t bothered me enough to do anything about it yet.

Maybe some photos of the problem? The dash sounds by far the worst.

Very difficult to photograph, and a first world issue as I say. It’s slightly “lumpy” and a bit (we’re talking millimetres) raised / spongy here. Don’t know if this just goes with territory of leather covered dash.

That's the best looking front quarter view of an ST that I've seen. IMHO it's usually the aesthetic weak spot of the ST or CT, but yours looks just fine! Maybe it's the choice of cherry red metallic (a lovely color) that makes all the difference?

Congratulations on the new car! Porsche perfection is a reasonable expectation for any new car buyer, especially interior trim.
