Ambient lighting in my 2023 Taycan?

Should I expect ANY ambient lighting in the Taycan on my 23’? I think I remember reading this is no longer? The old used to change color with album covers , no more?

Depends on the model you ordered. But ambient lighting is still available. GTS has it included, listed in the standard options on the configurator.


For a RWD or CT4 - this is what the option says for MY23

A choice of seven colored light schemes for the ambient lighting in the front footwells, front overhead console, front center console, and loudspeaker trims in the front and rear doors.

depends on market. In the USA it’s standard, best to check the configuration or dealer if in doubt.

I own MY 22 Taycan 4CT, Burmeister doesnt have illuminated speakers like Panamera. Looks like its a new option for MY23.

There is no "illuminated speaker option" at all for Taycan. Neither for MY22 nor for MY23.

They have removed the light in the footwell in the back. Other ambient lights are still there if you order them (not standard in EU market, not sure about US market).
