I've spec'd all you have gone for plus Innodrive, PIRM. I don't like the loof the roof bars as it seems to spoil the lines a little but this is a personal preference.

I've gone for rear privacy but agree it doesn't look great but here in SW France we get crazy temperature in the summer so sticking with it but have gone for a Pano roof.

I see RS Spyder wheels and Race Tex essential on a GTS and Rear Steer.

As for HUD I don't see the point when everything is in front on the dash anyway.
I'm going to give Innodrive a whirl on the FoD but I found I was only ever using just adaptive cruise on the Tesla though so thought ACC would do and it's been fine on the couple of longer journey's I've done in my 4S. I'm with you on the HUD but I can understand it's one of those things that you probably get used to having so if you don't have it you'll miss it.

Volcano I like (current 4S in this colour) but Bordeaux red and black is a definite no for me - looks garish to me (sorry). Crayon would be my choice and easy to keep pristine.

RS Spyder wheels are the right choice and look good on non GTS variants too.
I know what you mean about the red. I need to see it in the flesh as every photo is different and I don't trust the configurator representation. It's the same with Crayon on the configurator which makes it look almost pure white.

Is you have ACC you can add Innodrive later. I like the gadgets so know I'd want it so may as well save by adding at the order stage. I've had HUB on a 650 BMW and even my wifes Peugeot has it. It's great for keeping an eye on speed but this is still pretty easy on a Taycan dash.

Essential to see in the flesh but doesn't have to be a Taycan.

Crayon is not white at all but is washed out on the configurator. It is a very light grey. I had it on my Panamera, current Taycan and optioned again for my GTS ST. Great contrast with Volcano or Jet Black.

Innodrive and ALK feels much different to the Tesla system, I wasn't even sure ALK was working until it took a sweeping bend for me, on the Tesla the car takes over the steering and sometimes you end up wrestling back control whereas it felt seemless in the Taycan.

It's good at getting you to the right speed when the limit drops, you are dead on the right speed at the road sign. Unfortunately the reverse applies and soon as the limit increases it's like a dog chasing a squirrel!

The colors on the configurators are all pretty messed up, we all agree :CWL:
Agreed, the only reliable colours are black and white. Neptune looks grey ish. Glad Ii saw one in the flesh before ordering. It's a big car so colour is important. I walked around many Porsche Centres including their workshops to try and see as many colours as possible.

I don’t think there are many essentials for the GTS.

I’d put RWS as a highly desirable option, alongside the RS Spyder wheels.

Other things like auto-folding mirrors etc and not essential ownership but will be attractive for resale.

The standard wheels just look a bit odd don't they? As a minimum I'd upgrade to the Turbo Aero wheels.

What do you think of Volcano Grey with Bordeaux Red interior? Incidentally, I think the Turbo Aero wheels look good with the grey exterior but my problem would be they make look too much like a 4S.
Bordeaux red is amazing. I have it in Carmine Red exterior.

RAS in addition to PTV+ (standard) to then add PDCC would be the icing albeit an expensive topping for little daily use.

I’m not sure about PDCC.

Isn’t there a good reason it’s not on any GT cars?!

I think Gentian Blue is darker in real life than shown in the configuration?

I have the standard black interior on my 4S but added the Bordeaux Red Seat Belts and I think it looks really good especially with the Ambient Lighting set to red. The belts are much darker than the configurator though.

A friend of a friend used to have a 911 Targa GTS in Volcano Grey with Bordeaux Red interior and that looked fantastic.

I have the electric charge covers and they work fine but it's early days and no extreme cold days yet. Until I decided on a white exterior I wasn't going to spec them but it was the detail that was deciding factor. That said, they do block some of the aero so I again find myself in two minds about them because the GTS is more driver-focused. A decision may come down to exterior colour again!
You can set The ambient lighting to any color u want? Didn’t realize that …

I think it can also change based on the radio/music content?
