Make sure to drive there in sport mode, or to use the charging planner to drive to the Ionity charger, otherwise the battery may be too cold and the kw experience a bit less exciting ;-).Now to plan a trip to my closest Ionity charger for the full 270kw experience
You need a ’my Porsche‘ account and then link your car to the account using the VIN, then you should be able to find a ‘services’ tab where you can order the charge card for free.Where do you order from? I have my car vin already if that’s all that’s needed
Ok maybe, for me I didn’t find it until I got my connect ID email from Porsche, this was too late to get the card for when the car arrived......That doesn’t show in my app yet. Maybe it doesn’t appear until the car is registered as it doesn’t show a warranty date etc yet

I get the fast charge of a Ionity but why would you pay 69p per Kw?
Handy on a long run thoughIgnore that last post, I see they have a 30p offer for a while, still over twice the price as charging at home.
The Porsche Charge card isn’t not the best option but very practical if you need a charge occasionally. If more frequent you are much better off looking to subscribe to charging networks that you are going to use. But then you may end up with a lot of cards or badges.I noticed everything else below Ionity has a pay per minute rate and pay per kw e.g. 350kw is 31p+44p!
Fabulous charge experience at Ionity ... I called at Gretna services on route to Cairnryan ferry and apart from fumble first use I got 15mins charge and something like 22% boosted to 70%+ .... think the billing at non Porsche disc rates (card still to arrive) was £24 ...Taycan charging card arrived today, it took around ten days to arrive so it’s worth ordering promptly so you can use when the car arrives. I though the first 30 minutes are free then you pay after?
Well if it was I missed that! 5min fumble because using the QR code is different to MIFI card but still managed a good recharge in 15 or so mins
