Search the forum. Covered several times.

Get it to a dealer ASAP to be looked at for warranty repair. If no obvious sign of impact it should be OK under warranty. But the crack will expand which will make that deliberation tricky if left.

Mine looks like this. It’s CT. Still waiting for Porsche (three weeks) if it will be covered under Approved warranty?!

Wow, that’s unusual. Looks almost like acid etching but I can’t imagine what substance could make those shapes.

Looks like contamination of the film layer during manufacture to me.

It’s definitely between the two layers. And now I am waiting if they will change it.
But apparently Porsche approved warranty covers only if there is structural weakness and not visual.

I had no idea there is a film on the exterior of the panoramic glass. I will be interested to hear what caused it or if it was simply a manufacturing defect due to a failure in the application of this film during manufacturing.

I don't think the film is on the exterior but looks like an internal lamination to me.

No way that should not be covered.

Did they all spring up at once, or did you gets spots appearing over time?

Makes sense.
If it’s not a film you had applied by a 3rd party then I would be surprised if Porsche doesn’t cover it.
The big question is if it requires them to replace the roof or remove & reapply this film. Either way it seems like a big job.

Looks like a replacement needed, repair looks impractical.

I think that it is a film sandwiched between 2 layers of glass. It looks like there is a delamination of sorts. In my opinion, it is not visual, it is a failure of the manufactured part, so I would be very surprised if Porsche do not cover this.
