Which dealer did you go to? Sadly never thought but man Macan is POS... at least the base most dealer have as loaners
Los Gatos, and you’re not wrong - I’m in an ICE Macan and it’s so sluggish and giant I can’t stand it.
I’m going to drive my wife’s Model 3 until my car is done, I think.

Going back to ICE is hard!

Well, I got the car back today. Some interesting outcomes:

- Apparently only one charging-related fault, termed a "one time communication error." Advised to keep an eye on it.
- They replaced the heater, which now makes my fourth. Apparently my car was added to a campaign for it based on vehicle info. Maybe the yellow error I saw (which was on a hot battery) was about the heater and not the battery?

Anyway, glad to have it back, never want to drive an ICE vehicle again.

Well I’m counting:
- The original
- The replacement, which was a bad part and caused head-scratching in service
- The second replacement, which is what I’ve been running without incident
- This one

So I guess I’ve had 3 replacements, 2 actual service incidents.

Another footnote to this visit - I was asked to bring my charger in for a cable replacement. When I said I’d already done this, they said it was for the other end of the cable with the plug.

So I guess after all this the Porsche charger that I don’t use will be reliable at last.

Btw just got call from my dealer that Porsche issue recall of the passenger heater. So they scheduled service in 2wks. I didn’t get any sign of bad heater.
Regarding the cable, that seems to be pretty old, it is dating back from end of 2024. I got whole new charger under warranty last week and when compared with my other charger it has the same cables. Must have been TSB and now they are just replacing them?

I've had two cable recalls.

Last year for the NEMA 10-40.
This year for the other end with the charging plug.

I think I am now just down to the passenger seat cushion recall...which they still don't have parts.

yeah the front part was officially recalled but TSB has been out for a while , as I mentioned when I got my brand new charger with all cables, the date code and part number matched my other charge that last was serviced last year

This is not true. This would give you a peace of mind that is worth every penny of the $59:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088LW211V?th=1

Also, you will get a lot of interesting data such as your battery SoH that can trigger a warranty call depending on the level and miles. Then you learn your actual battery energy that would help you know your actual range based on real time consumption and not the car estimate, etc. Also, I can assume you do not do a battery rebalance.

There is a lot of good things here. Very surprised you do not get it why it is useful and a given for any Taycan owner. I am happy to help you step by step.

This is my data:

22,000 miles
86.61% SoH
78.77kWh Battery Energy at 100% SoC

Same happened to me…. Every time after fast chsrging (260+kw), i got a yellow error.
Sent a note to dealer, they scheduled me for an inspection about a month in the future… after my 4th yellow…a red error occured.
After about one hour, i unlocked the car, no more red error….so I drove another 100km, try to charge again…it worked over 200kw, after charging, yellow error again.
Called dealer again, they scheduled me for next day; they replaced heater (2nd or 3rd time), but yellow error still exists. I’ve been told thst some sensors needs to be replaced and they scheduled me for about 4 weeks 🤦🏻‍♂️😤
‘Since i didn’t want to be without car formore than a month or two, i sold it, bought new one.

I had MY 2025 for a week and i found out about 20% lower consumption (same trips, same driver…) and that was main reason for a such decision.
