My mistake.
I have corrected this in my post.
Two types of single phase BLUE plugs (3 pins): 16 and 32Amp.
One type of 3-phase RED plug (5 pins): 3×32Amp.
Hello, I’m guessing you have pretty good knowledge with the electrical system and capacity of pmcc.

i have 3 phase 240 v available for my charger
Bought a red commando socket 3 phase 32 amp .
Have a seperate 60 amp breaker just for the charger
Car is still to be delivered. What might I get in terms of charging speed ? Considering I have the max Taycan charging ac at 11kw and not the 22kw

will I be getting the full 11kwh? And is my 60amp breaker which is just for the charger ok?

It's simple:
240V×32amp=7680W or 7,7kW.
Cuz it's 3-phase you'll getting 3×7,7kW=23kW
Charger will limit this to around 22kW.

PS If you have 3-phase you should have 3 breakers.
At least in my country that's the case...

In the UK you have to spec the car with the 22kw adaptor to be able to use a 3phase supply to its full potential. My car doesn’t have this so the best I can expect from a 3 phase supply would be 11kw.

Hi,

In UK with a dedicated single phase circuit rated a 32A will enable the charger to perform at 7.4kW. Check your model number on the charger and cross refer this to your manual (tech specs) and you'll probably find that it is rated / capable of 22kW charging. In order to take advantage of this you would need a) 3 phase dedicated supply, and b) the onboard Taycan 22kW AC charger which was listed as an option for MY21. Electrical supply permitting, you might expect up to 11kW from your charger on I assume a 2 phase electrical supply) which the standard onboard 11kW AC charger will accommodate and thereby increase charging speed.

As an aside I notice in your screen shot that you have 'Direct Charging' enabled in addition to a profile. When this option is enabled it will override your charging profile and timers and therefore start charging as soon as a connection is made - apologies if you are aware of this 'feature' but just thought I'd mention it.

Thx

So I’ve purchased the case, wired up the charger and I’m only getting 0.1 mpm - is this as good as it gets with this charger?

Where did you get the case or does it come with the charger PMCC ?
