I am not sure if I am thinking of my M5 or what but is there not a way to change the height for example in Sport mode or the suspension stiffness setting or electric sound? I am not a fan of the default electric sound on in my Turbo-S.

Assuimgin you talke about the "pre-programmed" settings for "Normal, Sport and Sport+":
Negative :( (Why? No idea. Because Porsche!)
You only have "individual" and "range" mode you can edit, and then not all settings (eg. recup)
You can ofcourse always change at any time to whatever you want, but it won't save in the modes.

Yes I do it all the time via the screen.

Just to confirm - I have to go into settings every single time I want to turn on regenerative braking? Not the end of the world I am just trying to clarify what was meant by the above post.

You have a button for that on your steering wheel.

I have the diamond (right above the regen one) one set as electric sport sound so I just have the press those two when leaving. Yes, yes. Use individual. I know. Need to drive about a kilometer with the car lifted. I use individual elsewhere. :)

Page 130 US manual, item D, Recuperation button for regenerative braking.
Hope this helps and is what you were looking for.

There's a suspension mode touch button to the right of the instrument panel which you can use to select Sport or Sport Plus which lowers the suspension. Also the chassis and suspension height settings can be changed in the central display.

The ride height button is there with the suspension button. So with two steering wheel buttons and two dash buttons you can customize everything but the drive mode without going into menus. As others have said though no the settings aren't saved.

Yes but you can't change the default configuration for Normal, Sport, and Sport Plus drive modes and have your changes saved. You can only save your changes for Individual and Range mode.

So, this might just be a glitch in my car but.. if you select ride height in the infotainment and make a selection but leave the menu open it will carry over that ride height to other modes when switched via the Chrono knob.

Ie.. if I'm in Normal mode and select "Low" but leave the "Ride Height" menu open (you can still switch to a different screen ie.. media, nav, etc) any mode I switch into will then use "Low" ride height without requiring adjustment.

Does this happen for anyone else or is it a glitch?

Not sure but I can recall something like that yes.
By default, the ride height in Normal is always the same as in Sport (maybe that's the glitch?).

Are the settings saved the next day you'll drive the car?

Is the actual ride height retained or just what the menu shows?
