What's the trick to raise your wiper blades?
Im guessing the old school way... turn them on and calculate when to turn off your car
Power car off then press the wiper stalk down as if to flick wipe and the wipers will go to their maintenance position.

If you open the driver's door first the function won't work.

Same feature in all Porsches and other marques.

I also was searching for mine today -- can't find it. I also read the manual, and it says the equipment SHOULD be in the car. However as someone pointed out earlier it depends on the criteria of your world market.

In Canada (strangely) we do not get the Tire Inflator or the First Aid Kit. But the rest of the tools are present. As a bonus (I think) the remote fob window control is standard for Canada.

I honestly do wish I had the 12V inflator though. My tire pressure needs a small adjustment and I do not have a professional-type inflator in my garage.
I cannot get my windows to do anything with my FOB.... does yours work?

What fob and what remote feature are you referring to (picture might help)?

You can order the nflator kit online.

Press harder.

Same feature in other Porsche models.

Note that the brake / stop lights are also applied once hold is activated.
The HOLD was not working cuz I had the innodrive on. Not active, just on.
Thx!

That has nothing to do with it.
If you press the brake pedal Innodrive (and ACC for that matter) is disengaged.
Just brake until full stop and if the hold doesn't come on, lighten the brake pedal slightly and press again: the hold will be activated. ?

I programmed the diamond key on the wheel to switch between night and day after taking it off auto mode.

Go into NAV settings and you'll find it.

It works for the map in the PCM, no effect on the map in the driver's middle tube.

When you have the map selected in the instrument panel, click the right scroll button to go into the detail menu. Scroll down and you should see an option called "Always Night Mode" (IIRC). Make sure that's not checked.

Once you do that, day/night map is tied to whatever the light sensor that's used for auto-headlamps says.

Discovered this one by accident last night when trying to figure out how to use the radio in the car with all exterior lighting off (ie headlights). If you long press one of the headlight buttons on the instrument cluster (I think I did the very top one) it will turn off the lights.

I read on the forum here that pressing one of the buttons on the FOB will lower the windows.... I've tried holding down lock / unlock buttons and it doesn't lower the windows...

I believe this is not available in North America

Odd, can't imagine that feature to be region specific but perhaps so. Check the Porsche Good To Know App for further details (opening / unlocking section) which might help.

When you "short circuit" an electric motor it'll slow down, it's an electric brake...
Same principle is used in RC cars, it's like two (electro)magnets opposite to each other: they can attract or repel each other instead of using the induction for generating power.
The energy has to go somewhere. When you short circuit the RC car motors, the "braking" energy turns into hear - the short circuit wire/relay/transistor warms up, as do the motors. Slowing down a 2 ton car produces a lot of energy, heating up the motors and the inverter would not last very long before either or both overheated. Put an RC car on a treadmill, short circuit the motors, see how long before the motors start glowing.
