The more power aspect is "concerning" (for some) - sounds like it may be more difficult to squeeze in a GTS model. Good to see a green color coming back, presumably the palette in the Macan configuration is a preview of what'll be available for the Taycan..

The GTS doesn't seem to be part of the announcement. Ie. Might not be available for 2025.

The HV wiring loom in the front looks quiet different.

Looks much neater. I’d expect they’ve optimised a ton of things since the developed the original.

Seriously, looking at the video reviews, this really seems to be what the Taycan was supposed to be from the beginning. Even small things like the fact that the lightbar actually animates like the rendered graphics and a rear Porsche logo that lights up like the Mission-E concept.

Not just that...
It actually now does >300Kw charging as promised in the beginning...
And the performance is more aligned with what an EV should do for the basic Taycan.

Sad that they still stuck to the stupid 2 gear transmission... i was hoping they'd nix that POS.

Shitty. I don't know if I *need* another Turbo when I replace mine - but at the same time, the last time I got a 4S I regretted not going up a level lol

Sport Turismo variant missing as well? Wonder if that will stay GTS only in the US and that's why it's not included. Isn't it typical for the GTS variant to arrive later in the cycle?

That's some hike in mileage if the figures are to be believed!

Plus lighter and more powerful.

Don't like the front end changes...but the rest is fine too.

Be interesting to see real world examples on here once deliveries start.

That front end - yeesh. Looks like it was simplified for lower cost more than anything. Looks very generic, which is too bad as the 1st gen has such futuristic styling. The internal engineering advances are pretty incredible and shows how much they’ve learned in 4 years.

Electric sports sound now comes out of the stereo – no more dedicated internal speakers.
