How much quicker from 0-60 mph is the 2025 4s with the performance battery plus vs. without? Not concerned about range as I work remote and charge at home. Nor am I concerned about how quick it will charge to 80% as I can charge overnight at home anytime. Trying to figure out if it's worth the $5700 to me vs. spending it on other options. Live in AZ and drive locally for the most part. Not taking it on long drives to Vegas or CA or anything. Leasing it so resale doesn't matter.

According to the Porsche website there is no difference between them for the 0-60 time, only at higher speeds there is a very small difference.

Smaller battery means lower voltage means lower maximum power that the battery can deliver (power = Voltage * Current, with lower voltage, you get less power at same current). There is only so much power the car can put down to the street from 0mph (you're traction limited), but at higher speeds you get more power. Even more so in Launch Control, or if you tune your ECU (via 3rd party) to enable LC power/torque all the time.

If range is not a concern and you only want a bit extra performance... my suggestion is to spend your money on a ECU tune instead.
See the threads here for low warranty risk tuning options...

@prj provides an excellent write-up of the tune, warranty, longevity, performance.... All in plain speak.

Always get the PB+, you will have a huge gain on residual, it's a nobrainer.
It will be much easier to sell the car, and I am sure even down the line you will get at least $4000 more for it.

Just have a look now on the J1.1 Taycans for sale, the non PB+ ones are way cheaper.

And if you are going to tune it, then it's even more of a nobrainer because the PB+ will make at least 150hp more after the tune.

When you sell it in the future, it will be more attractive to your pool of buyers. This was a key criteria for me as the second owner of the Taycan I purchased. Good luck with your decision on this!

This is a lease. Resale doesn't mean anything.

0-60 is about 1 tenth slower, however 0-60 is only one measurement of how fast a car is. What you should really be looking at is 1/4 mile time. A base Taycan runs 13 seconds in the 1/4 mile. A Taycan 4s with the performance battery + runs 11.6 seconds in the 1/4 mile. The 4s without the P battery+ is about 2 -3 tenths slower in the 1/4 mile. That is about 1 to 1.5 car lengths of a gap at the finish line.
