And a lot of them are way under list price.
I noticed this when clicking the "Look at this Porsche in the Car Configurator" button.
A quick look shows many at 5K to 12K under list.

That is probably due to them being MY23 cars and the configuration showing MY24 pricing.

Mad to think that about this time last year you could sell back to the dealer over list.

Many basic specs for sale. The same car specced similar to mine is the same price as I paid, or slightly more. I don’t really see any underpriced Taycan. At least looking at brand new.

I noticed that today too. Are these just ones that the dealer ordered to sell or do Porsche just build a few when they have more capacity than orders.

The specs do seem quite parsimonious but it's worrying that they're offering them about 5-10% off list.

They are not discounted, they are MY23 specs, but you're looking at them with MY24 pricing in the Configurator.

I got exactly the same from my dealer. When I queried if this was a 'sign of the times ' as I'd never seen a Porsche finance deposit, the reply was 'It’s been a little difficult but as production numbers are now set in stone for 2023 I think demand will increase'

I don't know man, the sedans are like Camry or commodities in Toronto these days. I parked in front of one on Sunday. It just looks bland to me.

This is what happens when the interest rates are at stupidly high levels, even Porsche owners don’t want to pay 10.3% APR!

As of today in the UK there are now 456 Taycans on the Porsche website, brand new and available in dealer stock! This includes 60 Turbo S and 58 4S CTs. At an average price of £100,000 per car (very conservative estimate) that’s just under £46 Million of unsold cars!
Expect incentives like dealer finance contributions or lower APR rates soon!

After effects of all the issues leading to this point and cancelled orders (expensive finance) featuring too I guess.

Clearing the decks for facelift too many also be a factor.

Technically this called "dumping" and not good for the brand I fear.

Unfortunately it’s seems they don’t care, as some dealers are now showing 11.3% APR - crazy.

Unfortunately it’s seems they don’t care, as some dealers are now showing 11.3% APR - crazy.

All dealers should be quoting Porsche Finance (VW) rates which will be the same whichever franchised dealer you go to (a cartel and part of the problem).
