I don't see it even if I proceed to the checkout. Are you refering to the "tethered" option, because Clod Reed was asking if the untethered one comes with a cable.
That's what I made clear - 2 models, 1 tethered (with a cable) and 1 untethered (without a cable), I then pointed out that they may not sell the cable separately (one could always ask of course) but I see no reason why they wouldn't.

If the untethered one came with a cable it wouldn't be 'untethered' per se!

There is nothing special in the tethering - the cable is simply locked in place when inserted into the receptacle. There is an electronic switch to 'lock' the cable and therefore 'tether'. Therefore any cable will work for either untethered or a slightly more permanent tethered option.

Hope that's clear now.

With the Easee One you can buy a type 2 to type 2 cable as part of the purchase, which is what I assumed Clod was asking about with regards the Simpson EVSE, as the conversation had moved on.

I understand how they all work. I have an Easee One at home, and as of thirty minutes ago, I now have a Simpsons untethered at my mum's. Very nice it is too.

This thread has got a bit split however this is good news both for those of us with an Andersen and those who want a great looking device. They will continue to run the app which is welcome
That is really good news. Haven't used mine yet as don't pick up ST until Thursday. One less thing to worry about and now makes the effort to colour match the unit with my repainted garage door worthwhile!

The tethered one is good value …because you get a 6.8m cable for £50. …which is very reasonable…not saying it’s the best option ,,but reasonable all the same?

I can't seem to login to the Andersen app......has anyone else encountered this issue? May well have gone offline following on from the administration issue.
