I just got my J1 II last week and did some testing with the navigation. It seems that if you start Android auto, use waze for navigation you get the navigation by arrows working in the right side frontal display.
I have not tested what happens if you put the centre front display on navigation, will try that later.
Also I should test if you navigate with waze to a charger if it will start the battery pre-conditioning.

It won't do what you expect. AA is not integrated to the degree you expect.

Personally, I don't use it and the standard NAV and related integration works perfectly.

Preheat won't work either but hopefully you can prove me wrong as I can't see what has changed in 4 years.

Well I tried some things:
The right side of the centre screen does take the directions from waze (on right hand screen).
Was that also the case before or is this new ?

But if you display the middle of centre screen as map, it does show the integrated map with no routing, so that's not waze. This means also that preheat won't work.
