Anyone else got Porsche Connect problems?

Exactly what happened to mine a few weeks ago. Lost connection while driving. Porsche app still thinks my car is on holiday in Wales. Factory reset didn’t help.
It’s back in with Porsche now to be fixed. They said they wanted the car for a week! ?

Work being done by M & A coachworks.. seem to be Porsche approved!

both bump and PCM issues happened around the same time?!

M & A coach works do work to such high quality. Only just got my car back after it was t-boned at a junction where driver didn’t stop

M&A coach works was superb the whole way and had my pod and ceramic coating put back on as well

Keep us posted. Mine stopped working about three weeks ago and the dealer is telling me it’s not their issue.

Similar timing. It’s odd as there is a green light on the SOS button, and PVTS still works as Vodafone called me with a tamper alert when I disconnected the battery, PCM says SIM status is good, but PCM shows no data connection.

I think my OPc are struggling. They asked me for my Porsche login username and password, which isn’t great security practice!

Similar timing. It’s odd as there is a green light on the SOS button, and PVTS still works as Vodafone called me with a tamper alert when I disconnected the battery, PCM says SIM status is good, but PCM shows no data connection.

have had to leave them with my details too this morning. It's clearly not related to individual IDs because as soon as I press the 'log in' button, it tells me to establish a data connection.

the sim status shows connection and strong signal.

Got it back today. Fixed!
Apparently the stripped down the interior and disconnected the data module and PCM directly. I have a suspicion the fuse route would have done the same and would have been easier!

Absolutely! Got my car back today after they confirmed yesterday no LTE communication. They pulled the fuse and reset, and everything ok now!

12v battery disconnect is the option to try - hard reset rather than a soft (engineering one).

so my car has now started have similar connectivity issues the past 5 days...

seems to have lost comms during a time the car was pre-heating early one morning last week.. I can see in the app the pre-heating running!

made the mistake of logging out of PCM and trying a factory reset... now when I try to log back in, I can't as it cannot get online and get the 'need to establish data connection' message when trying.

luckily the car is in for its recall tomorrow so will get them to look at it then.

a more annoying matter... a delivery van clipped the front corner of my parked car and didn't stop. Luckily the car behind snapped a pic of the van so is with the insurers. Work being done by M & A coachworks.. seem to be Porsche approved!

Hi Jin, so sorry to see that happened to your car. It seems to be the way these days that people just drive off after something like that. Pleased for you that someone got a pic of it. Hopefully you will get it sorted soon. Had mine in at M&A in the summer for a new wheel (kerbed it and Porsche insisted it was replaced). I would highly recommend M&A. Their staff are great, and they deal with a lot of high end supercars. They had at least 3 Taycans there when I went in. Also, Ferrari Roma, other Ferraris, Bentley conti GT, many other Porsches. Think you will be in safe hands.
