Apple Carplay Volume Goes Down Randomly

I just got my Taycan and have a bizarre issue....when using Apple Carplay the volume will randomly (about every 4 days) go down really low and it seems like music is coming only out of the front speakers with no bass. This will happen for about 30 seconds and then I will here a brief pause in the music and then it will go back to normal. It seems like it is lowering the volume due a notification or announcement from the phone but I can't figure it out. Anyone else have a similar issue? Seems so random. I am listening to music using Spotify in Carplay. I need to see if this also happens if using the built in spotify app but have not had a chance. Thanks.

I had this happen the other day. 2 finger reboot fixed it and it has not happened again.

Likely due to notifications and if NAV is on. Check your settings on the phone for notifications and configure accordingly.

I figured out the solution to my problem. For anyone that might see this in the future, check to see if you have the Amazon Alexa app installed on your phone and have the location set to always on for the Alexa app in your iPhone settings. The Alexa app will take over the Carplay audio trying to run location based routines in the background. I changed the location setting to ‘only when using the app’ and it fixed my issue. Hope this helps someone in future!
