I've also had no issues with loaner cars - last time I had a new Macan GTS (ICE), prior to that was a Taycan. What annoys me more is they don't seem to do collect-and-return which I've used with previous vehicles and found very handy

Not ARB5 or ARB6, but got WR50 today.

Have to make sure the car is on the internet for at least 45mins (I assume contiguous) at least every 30 days...not sure how I check that (?!).

If I can't do that, I need to book it into a dealer for 3 days.

Then there'll be new software deployed Q1 2025 for more advanced diagnostics.

(Mine's a March '22 GTS).

Lol, why do they bother the customer with the 45min / 30sec thing. We have zero control over this. This feels like a developer is doing some ad hoc debugging and told his manager what he wants and needs and they just copy/pasted his needs in the recall info

Got the WRS0 letter in the post on my birthday. What a wonderful gift. Thank you Porsche Cars GB!

Already waiting for the ARB0 brake hose campaign to be completed. Porsche Colchester keeps cancelling the appointment (and 1st scheduled service) on me.

This car has had more recalls and campaigns in the short timed I've owned it, than any other vehicle I've had, by some margin....

To be fair, this and every other W*** campaign shouldn’t be a recall. If OTA was a thing (a real thing), all these SW recalls could have been something in the background.

I recently got the letter, which is funny because I had a service booked in for July, which was rebooked to december due to a backlog, and I just got an email saying they need to cancel my appointment until march as they are further backlogged.

I told them that is absolutely insane and unacceptable, to which they offered I can drop off my car this week, and maybe they can get to it sometime by February, with no notice or warning about when they can fit it in, also no temporary replacement car.

by and large, Porsche UK is genuinely the worst car company I have ever dealt with.

So are you saying that the 2 year service was due in July 2024 and booked in, but can't be done until March 2025 (possibly Feb if you surrender it for 2 months with no courtesy car)?

So 8 months late for it's scheduled service?

Am I reading that correctly?

If so that is insane and very worrying for a number of reasons.

Voided warranty due to overdue servicing
I had a battle with them after a delayed service meant the car would be out of warranty by the time it was inspected, so I asked if I needed to extend it, they said don't worry sir because this is on us we will give you grace on the warranty. Confirmed that when I dropped the car off. Then tried to charge me best part of £4k for new radiator fans. Sorted it out eventually but a lot of arguing and stress before they did. Be careful with your warranty situation

If you didn't make an issue at the time, I could see them saying you should have tried other dealers and you would have got it booked in.
Therefore warranty voided.

I would have wanted something in writing from Porsche GB in this instance.

.......and I can see it happening a LOT once this campaign starts, as getting Taycans in for service in the UK (with courtesy car) I always found an absolute nightmare -despite others on here saying it's a walk in the park.

They ultimately backed down but yes lesson learned don't take what they say verbally as gospel and get it in writing. If you are planning on extending the warranty just do it anyway so you are always covered.

Got the WRS0 letter today. I don’t have an active Connect subscription anymore, so let’s see what happens.
