Battery capacity dropped/reduced Update!

I have had the car for a week. I am at 80% sport plus and a lot of flooring the pedal. At 54% it was showing 128 miles today. Taycan 4S P+.

44% 96 miles at the moment. Car sitting outside at dealer.

Today while driving the car finally started recuperating through the brake pedal. I drove a smooth 70mph highway drive. Started with 135miles range and after about 25miles arrived with 135miles range. Temperature is about 15°C. What you guys are describing must be an issue with the battery. Don't read this as a brag - just giving some data of daily driving and how the 93kwh battery is holding up when its working as intended (I think).

I think it might be a charge calibration issue–which I had with laptop computers and smart phones.
For those, a procedure to re-calibration is known.

My car range also went done a bit since I got it. I saw a 214 mile range at 100% and I was trying to get good range. Drove like a grandmother and zero hard acceleration. I've seen as low as 175 miles on 100% charge in cold weather and driving normal. I saw 148 mile range @85% charge driving on highway 90+ MPH. Not to be adversarial, I don't believe anyone that says they are getting 260-270 miles of range....I know 'real" people that have Turbo's and Turbo S cars and we are all under 200 miles when driving normally. Actually 160-180 miles at 90% charge. (Clarification- we are all Porsche guys and drive the cars like Porsche cars. Hard and fast).

I have a Taycan 4s, 2020, with a performance Plus battery or 93.4KWH. One thing I noticed that as I demonstrated the car to friends my range began to decrease at 85% SOC. Couldn't figure out why, but finally found that a trip log is created after each drive and in the trip log is your rate of consumption. When demonstrating the car, I was pushing it a bit hard and consumption rate was pretty high. It appears that the range takes the trip log consumption rates into consideration. There is a delete all function that clears all of the trip logs and my range returned to its original values.

You know Paul, owning a Taycan is a lot like making love to a beautiful woman. You spend weeks promising you’ll lovingly enjoy her for hours on end. Then she arrives, you drive her hard and fast for 150 miles, drop her back and tell her you’ll be recharged and ready to go again in the morning

New update:
As the car is in now for the 5th week, it looks like that yesterday they found something.
During the time it was in the garage I could see that they raised the range slowly from 150-170 miles to now 232 miles! On Friday the range was still 171miles at 100% but yesterday the range went to 232 miles. They did a total of 395 miles during test drives. I assume that they will do a range test now before they give the car back. I hope that after some long range tests the range will go back up again to over 250 miles to what I had before. Can’t wait to get the car back (the 171 miles pic is from Friday night and the 232 miles pic is from Saturday).

Hopefully last update:
Today I got y car back after 5 weeks.
I am happy to report that I habe now 238miles at 100%.
Why would anybody accept 140-160 miles at 100%?
I would give the car back with 150 miles as this would not be acceptable for me.
And as we can see now, there must have been a problem with the software. I hope this will stay now like this and that the capacity will actually improve now over time.
So far the update works well and already noticed some good changes.
So happy to have it back now
