No problems experienced after the IOS update. Works fine with USB connection in my pre WMA update MY 2020.

I initially had a blank screen in car after I first connected phone following ios update. Did try switching media and re-selecting car play but still showed blank screen. However, after stopping the car, reconnecting the phone it was then fine. Pre WMA update MY 2020.

Probably worth trying the usual reset process - lock the car, leave for a while > 15 mins and try again. Could also try switching media input, completely removing cable and re-connecting.

couple items that can help you based on my experience
1. Go to PCM's "phone" manager, see if CarPlay is grayed out. Tapping on the CarPlay Icon forces a connection it seems.
2. If that doesn't work, delete the paired phone from PCM. then go to the phone's settings, BT, delete the car. Then go through the pairing process again.

You might want to try connecting it wired for the first time after the update if you haven’t tried that yet. After the first wired connection, it may connect wirelessly after that.
