Hello everyone! I recently drove my Taycan on 2x ~250kms (155 miles) trip and realized the range has been horrible. On my return trip, I took note of the consumption.
Distance: 250kms (155miles)
Consumption: 27.5 kWh/100kms, 44.3kwh/100 miles.

Drove on Range mode, steady 137kmh (85mph).
Battery went from 96% to 12%.
battery is upgraded to 93.2 kWh.

is the consumption suspiciously high or the battery capacity is low or both? Car only has ~7000 miles on it.

Here is some comparative data that may help. Last Winter, our 4S averaged 0.4 KwH/mile in the coldest weather (battery temps ~ 35-45F). During the Summer, it averaged below 0.3 KwH/mile with battery temps ~ 75-85F. As you know, there are many other variables involved, but maybe what you're seeing is the "Winter is Coming".

Cruising at 85mph will eat battery. Using cruise control will help as some recuperation is possible when car automatically brakes to maintain speed.

PB+ only provides 88.3kWh of useable battery.

Range drive mode since uPdate is pretty pointless these days as the rear motor is used predominantly rather than the front (smaller) motor. Expect only a single digit improving range when compared to Normal drive mode.

How warm / cold was it?

What was your AC set to?

85mph is the real culprit here IMHO.
