Hey Will - Can't thank you enough for doing this. I am likely going to cut the bars shorter (I have access to a horizontal band saw) and order (1) rack from 1up. What is the diameter of the bar? Looking at the machining, it seems as though I need to research a cap alternative.

ID and OD if possible. If I go OD, I won't need to re-anodize

I'm currently using a Thule roof bar with a Yakima bike roof. So you sure can carry 3 bikes (4 max) at a time if needed with this rear bar setup.

You can’t mount it fully assembled. You reassemble and disassemble each time. It takes less than 5 minutes.

They will ship out of the US. My supplier is ordering material now so don't have an exact timeline. My best estimate right now is around end of August to get them delivered to people in the US. There are parcel forwarders to Europe if you search "parcel forwarding" or "consolidated shipping." I will leave that up to you to find a forwarding service to your country. @Mtljckt may have some experience he can share once he gets his rack.

OD is 2", ID is 1.5" The caps that fit in the ID will be hard to come by, I actually bore out the ID to fit the caps. The plug you showed that goes around the outside would work.

Hope these pics help you out. The bars are inserted into a socket in the bumper and rotated to lock the pins in place.

This would need to be an aftermarket addition. I'm sure @ciaranob will share his solution once he get's his rack. He had some details in a post here. There are kits that include both lights and plate holder on Amazon last time I checked. The trailer light socket n the car is a standard 13pin.

I suspect it can as you can move the position of the part that touches your bike tire to secure the bike. Those are adjustable to fit different size tires but I bet you could find the sweet spot that works with your fenders. Best to verify with 1up though.

Round 2 bar order is in the works! Supplier already received material and has started machining. Seems this round is going to go a lot faster than the first group. Expect to have the bars by early-mid August for those in the US.

Look for a DM with payment instructions. $500 for the bars or $550 including the trailer plug (to disable parking sensors and power lift gate). Price includes shipping in continental US.

The Yakima ForkChop also works and a previous user used it on their bars:

The Yakima FrontLoader works but will only fit wheelbases up to 43”. Most road bikes will work but mountain or city bikes will not. But it is available in Europe.
