Given the location, just patch it and you won't notice it eventually. I'd wait for it to be more damaged before replacing that piece. i.e. I'm waiting for bird droppings, cat claws to do the damage, a person running a leaf rake over the door (yes, it's happened) and then a replacement.

If you're good with DIY with a template, it'd cost you about $200 for the PPF material for that door, shipped to your door and you can install it in 1 hour tops + curing time.
