Not this person, but I did land on the Thinkware U3000- my rationale was it seems similar to the BlackVue, but uses a better camera and has some sort of optimized parking mode where it uses lower power and turns on the camera based on radar.

Might just be a gimmick, but I’ll find out when I get it installed soon!
Word of warning, thermal & noise insulated glass interferes with radar and GPS.

PS) BV has a low power parking mode, accelerometer and video motion detection based.

Any consensus on what the best 2 channel (front and rear) option is nowadays between Blackvue, FitcamX, Viofo A139Pro, or something altogether else?

I know from a bunch of threads it's definitely not the OEM one :p
The Vantrue N4 Pro keeps coming up as a better opting than the Blackvue due to the Starvis 2, ability to capture license plates, and overall image quality. I was considering the FitcamX, but being able to record upon movement outside of the car when parked is something I want and the FitcamX can’t do that.
