I ordered 4S CT in October I think, and was told Q2. Last contact had me down as end of May, but that was just before the Loom problem. Not heard anything else in last couple of weeks.

I honestly think mine is further delayed because its a lease. I think if you ordered direct with Porsche you are higher priority. Everyone's cars are delayed to an extent but I think lease cars are lower priority to Porsche dealers.
I am paying cash. Deposit paid July ‘21 recently told the fix date will be in April ‘22 With possible delivery in July.

I only went for a Turbo as waiting list for Turbo was 0 ahead - but for a 4S has 20+ allocations ahead of me. Plus financing terms with a mid Turbo similar to spanked 4S - easy choice!

Do you have the MyPorsche app showing the 5 phases? If so have you done the Silverstone track day?

My dealer said I should prepare that I won't get it until end of August/September. I ordered it in late May. I also think your model and configuration have an impact on delivery times too.

I did similar with the Turbo S. 4S had similar watiting list in November 21. Could have gone for the Turbo or the TurboS in terms of queues with 1 in front on each but figured it was as well jumping to the S since I was moving off the base line anyway.

Do we know whether they produce them in ratios then?

Is there any chance that a Turbo S comes quicker because there's less of them built compared to the 4Ss or is it just that every 10th one on the production line is a Turbo S and they appear at the same rate?

I can vouch for large variation in lead times between different Porsche Centres- I put down a deposit on a 4S CT in October at a large city dealership that was flooded with orders (I'd guess mainly from tax-incentivised business users switching from other marques) with an estimated 12+ months wait for delivery. A few weeks later I tried a smaller more rural Centre and got an estimated 6 months wait (another deposit, identical vehicle, which resulted in an April build slot, but by then my preferred Turbo option had leapt forwards 6 months). I reckon that Centre has mainly non-business more traditional Porsche customers less interested in an EV.

I agree the variation from one dealer to next is weird to say the least, but I’m also convinced that even within one dealer they treat customers differently.
It’s the dealers decision when to forward your order to Germany.
Nobody can convince me that if I put in an order today I would be ahead in the queue of a regular big spending customer at that dealership that walks in a week after me and orders an identical car.

From NEW VEHICLE SALES TERMS AND CONDITIONS section of the order form:
We shall be under no obligation to fulfil customer orders sequentially in the order received or in any other order.

Yeah - didn’t see that disclaimer but not surprising. Well spotted!
On a different subject has anyone on this forum got the MyPorsche app showing the 5 phases of production from order to delivery?
I’m curious to know how quickly you went from phase 3 to 4?
