No you don't need to have a green plate dealer fit normal plate on mine I have done 1400 miles in mine just can't stop smiling when I get in the car its awesome I have had a few midlife crisis cars but this is just something else enjoy

Already emailed and dealer swapping normal plates, thanks!

Have gone Panamera, Maserati Granturismo, DB11 in last 18 months and all I regret is selling Panamera. Hopefully the constant swapping will stop!

Apparently there’s going to be another pause in production this month for an unspecified period of time. Not sure of the validity, or how accurate their estimate of several months will be. I’m just hoping it’s BS and my May build happens. Anyone heard anything besides on the forum?

I’ve read the rumours on other forums, but there seems to be a variety of reasons given.
Some have received calls from their dealers blaming Ukraine again!?
I’ve heard nothing from my dealer but that’s not surprising as their communication is pathetic. Ordered 6th Sept. Currently on phase 3 on the APP.

I spoke to my local dealer (Sheffield) on Monday in regard to my CT4 order placed in Feb. Apparently production is suspended for the next 2 months due to wiring harness supply issues. Nothing I am hearing either on this website or via other forums gives a pretty picture in regards to orders being fulfilled in a timely manner :-(

Hi... What was the suggested delivery for your CT? I switched my original RWD order (placed in Oct) to CT4S in Dec (at that point I was 26 in the queue), switch moved me from July 22 to Dec 22 - Currently not expecting to see the car until early 23.

This information looks to be incorrect. I certainly hope so. I’ve called nearly every PC in the uk and everyone said production is small but still going.

I haven't had any date confirmed by Porsche (Sheffield). When you say your 26th in the queue. Is that the queue for a CT4S? The process was described to me as follows. Porsche (Sheffield) are allocated x amount of cars per year. However, there never told exactly how many cars of each type they will receive.

I am assuming there is queues for 911, 718, Taycan, etc. Not sure if the queues are model specific i.e. you are 26th in the queue for a CT4S ordered through Porsche (Sheffield)? In which case I am somewhere in a different queue for a CT4.

I am going to ask the sales person to confirm exactly where I am in the queue and if that queue is model/dealer specific. At least then when I ring in 3 months time I can get some idea of the rate at which orders are being fulfilled.

I paid a deposit on a 4SCT at the end of January at the Leeds dealership. I chased it last week asking, if I changed the order to a turbo, would it be quicker. I was told I was 'three quarters of the way up the queue' (or three quarters of the way down, depending if you're a glass half empty kind of guy) and that if I swapped to the turbo I would go to the bottom of the turbo list. The turbo list is shorter but their allocation is smaller, so it is still quicker to stick to the 4S.

correct, hence why I swapped to a Turbo (0 in queue, v 20+ for 4S).

Each dealer gets an allocation of each model and has a queue for each model of its own customers. So always worth calling round dealers to see how many in the queue, although I suspect that Mayfair etc get more 911 Turbo S than Aberdeen (no offence to the Scots!).
