Ho much you paid for it?
Why would you sell it?
I have paid MSRP for my Turbo going into it with a mindset of long term hold and not worry about depreciation.
I probably won’t sell ….only other vehicle I would consider getting back into for DD is model S plaid. Overall was best car I owned.

...
Almost 50% depreciation in little over a year.
That's not depreciation, that's just a ridiculous offer.
On the other hand, most high-end cars loose half of their value in the first 4-5 years, always has been.

So, if you don't want any depreciation: don't sell it.
Simple.

Just went through this. Wanted to trade my Taycan for a Macan EV. If Porsche won't give a value on a trade that makes sense, then I don't have to play their game.

I had my Porsche dealer offer me $39000. Sold it to Carvana for $45,000.

So Porsche folks don't even value their own products...

It’s no secret that trade ins are the lowest value choice. And about Carvana, consider what may be left on the table…. Carvana offered me $21k for my M5, which I priced and sold at $36k. They ask for a BIG cut.

Probably should have leased?
I was planning to trade in my 2025 Taycan CT.
One year and three months old.
Cost €150,000.
I am extremely happy with it. No issues whatsoever.
Was planning to upgrade to the current model / looks like I will have to buy another brand sports car.
Any suggestions! I was going to add 4 wheel steering/ sports seats and a few more extras.
Trade in value after a little over a year and 15,000 kms €80,000.
That’s some depreciation. And I believe that EV ‘s and increasing in value due to the increasing cost of fuel 🤷‍♂️.
And that’s with a Porsche main dealer , where I purchased it.
Very disappointing.
Almost 50% depreciation in little over a year.
Thanks in advance 🤔
I think everybody that had done any kind of research would know that depreciation was an issue with the Taycan. It’s a known fact that businesses; esp in the UK would lease them out just to write off the loss.
For me though, after driving the car (especially on twisty roads) I felt that it was totally worth the money I would lose but I guess that’s an individual decision based on a lot of factors. I would advise to keep it unless you really want an ICE sports car to replace it.

Curious what model is exactly, is it a RWD or 4S and J1.1 orJ1.2 ? I thought the 2025 's, J1.2 at least were holding their values a bit better.
