Hi Martin, MIKE O'BRIEN here. I am 78 and find getting into and out of my GTS is a struggle. I am also 6'4" and 215 lbs. My biggest complaint on the car is the driver entry and exit plus the narrow seat bolsters. However, I have managed to find a method to get in and out with reasonable effort and once I put my hands on the wheel and start driving all those issues go away and I get a huge smile on my face. You have a beautiful car, so sorry to see it go.

Your frame size is an almost exact model of mine. To be honest I could continue with it but my older brother who I drive around a fair bit is much less flexible than me. Once in of course, all is good.

You guys need to upgrade to MY25 and option with the snazzy new active suspension which has a neat door entry system which jacks up the car instantly to make egress and ingress a lot easier.

I believe Active Ride easy entry only raises 33 mm for sedans, 55 mm for CT. That’s really not a lot.

I watched a large friend struggle to get in and out. It’s very tight for big people. B pillar placement is the biggest part of it.

One inexpensive idea you might try. Buy a pair of wool seat pads for the front seats. They provide additional cushioning, and seem to make the seat fit well too. Here is a link to something on Amazon that is what I'm thinking of. Nothing fancy, but it comes in different colors too, and for <$60 USD it might be worth a try.

Of course this doesn't address a B-pillar issue, but I find once you figure out your entrance and exit approach, the B-pillar is not an issue.

Why not just hold and store? It’s a piece of history.
