It is an excellent structural material and wasted on embellishment IMO.

I was glad I didn't have to have carbon trim anywhere on my Taycan, or a black interior, or drug dealer windows, or a glass roof too. I probably wouldn't have bought one if not.

All, of it is just a matter of taste and yours, and many others, is different to mine.

I am pretty sure that I neither said nor implied that my opinion was more important or valid than anyone else’s. My only comment was on the quality and layout IMO of my interior in the 296 vs other Ferrari’s

Usecases are different, too.
I use mine to keep my kids asleep.

So presumably you don't have a glass roof either since that would obviously be much more likely to wake sleeping children than clear side windows.
I never noticed my clear windows having any influence on whether my children, or now grandchildren, drop off to sleep in my car they just did when tired, and have travelled with sleeping children in the back now for almost 50 years.
OTOH I have never owned a car with the back windows blacked out, too ugly, so don't know if it would have made any difference.

In this stage of the Ferrari Luce it's not even relevant (yet).
There's only the cockpit and there's no CF anyway, so ...

SF90, their first hybrid hypercar goes for below 300k now.
Don't think anyone buying ferrari wants anything to do with anything even slightly electric. I suspect they will sell for below 150 after the first year.

Ever since Ferrari went public, they have not been the same. This EV will be another one of their many cars that people who are trying to one-up each other on social media will have to buy, all for the false promise of getting a limited-series unit

I don't know if that's a good thing cuz normally I instantly know if something is beautiful or not.
Well, it's "different", that's for sure!
At least I'm a big fan of the interior though.

I love it!!!

It makes me love my Taycan even more. J1 still is the most non-EV looking EV, I was very afraid the new gold standard / benchmark EV would be the Ferrari Luce.

It's also quite big cuz these wheels are 23' on the front and 24' on the back.
I guess it looks better in real life.
It's growing on me though...🫣

I like it for a daily driver EV for $70k. I think its cool looking, but not for a Ferrari at 10x the price it should be.
