I then realized I'd being using a prior (out of date) login pw - def lack of coffee this AM - but question: do we use our Porsche ID or Apple ID when logging into the TestFlight app?
Use your Apple ID to log into the TestFlight application.

yes, TestFlight is an apple developer tool, nothing to do with P, so use your apple id there indeed.

Yes I had done that of course as had already accessed the app from there - my question was which ID to use when launching the ElectricSidecar app - I had in fact correctly used the Porsche ID but had it turned out entered an incorrect older pw - found a poss bug in process :), but all sorted - thx for the responses.

Working well - as OP has mentioned the unlock not available as yet but lock works as it should.

I added the Charge complication to the bottom right of my GMT style face which allows me to retain access to the other more freq used complications.

The 'California' watch face with the charge complication looks sharp too and clear and easy to see (ignore the camera related patterned effect - the watch face is flat white (or ceramic) in this style):

And when above face inverts in low power/sleep mode still perfectly readable:

When you select the complication on the watch face you go to the app's interface - the refresh button obscures underlying icons - one suggestion might be to have the option to auto-refresh?

For now these icons are not 'live' i.e. nothing happens when selected but they reference the underlying menus accessed by scrolling down with the watch wheel - all these sub-menus appear to work perfectly:

@featherless

Two additional cosmetic/functional thoughts (on top of the suggestion re increasing icon visibility in the grid mode app view on the watch) might be:

1) As mentioned above, perhaps an 'auto-refresh' option (could have a customizable timer but simpler just to have a set repeat time) - possibly already planned if this current iteration simply to aid beta testing and
2) The lock button (action button) could simply flip its icon to a closed or open lock, maybe also red vs green, and would make the lower image of 'locked status' redundant whilst adding space for another option?

Not sure if intentional or a possible bug but noticed that if you use a complication as a corner widget for example in the Apple GMT watch face you can only add the 'Charge' complication - the Range complication is not available.

However in using a more central sub-dial for example in the Apple California Watch face both Range and Charge complications are available.

I just recently added support for lock screen widgets as well on the iPhone, which is my personal favorite :) works great with the always on display.

Heads up for all the new testers about where things are at:

- State of charge widgets (percent remaining and mileage remaining) work on both the watch face and iPhone 16 lock screens.
- The main app shows extra information, such as car location, mileage, and imagery of your car's build.
- On the main app, either on the watch or the phone, you can manually refresh the information.
- The app will refresh automatically if the last time you opened the app was more than 15 minutes ago.
- The widgets will auto-refresh every 30 minutes or so (though this depends on when iOS/watchOS decide to actually update the widgets).
- Locking the car from the watch app (or from the Porsche app, even) doesn't always (ever?) appear to fold your mirrors. This seems to be a bug on Porsche's side.
- I'm currently working on getting some test infrastructure in place to make sure that the widgets and app don't regress as new features are added.

Features and bugs are being tracked here: https://github.com/jverkoey/ElectricSidecar/issues. Please use that to suggest new ideas / report bugs / vote on features! The code's also all open source, and contributions are welcome (though mind that the code's a bit of a mess right now).

Also, if anyone owns a non-Taycan Porsche, I'd love to get your test feedback as I have no idea if the app works for non-Taycan models (in theory it should?).

For some reason, I cannot open TestFlight. My invitation allows me to get into the ElectricSidecar build and I can see all of the testers. I cannot get into TestFlight as it asks for a redeem code. Anyone?
