J2 GTS Standard LED Matrix vs HD Matrix? Differences

I second that opinion. These clusters are on another level, beam forming looks almost magical, magic carpet is a very nifty feature, the whole makes for a very special driving experience at night.

Old thread but thought I would provide updated commentary.

I sold my 2023 J1.1 GTS and got a J1.2 4S;

I was stunned by the matrix lights in the J1.1.

my new car has the optional HD Matrix lights.

Did my first night drive yesterday. I’m blown away. The Magic carpet was stunning. Impressed the hell out of all my passengers. I would sense cars around me were equally impressed.

the light staging was amazing

the lane changing magic carpet sequence was James Bond.

So if I have a J1 GTS with standard matrix LED lights> changing to J2 GTS will give me the same light package? I’m actually really happy with the J1 lights on the GTS

Yeah they're good but not worth the exorbitant premium when ordering new.

I had standard matrix on my GTS and 4S and thought they were good. Now have HD matrix on my 911 which are cool.
