You are probably right. I was under the impression cars were still unloaded in SD per the last time I bought a 991. Things must have changed.
Yeah, my 991 went through San Diego bound for the Bay Area, so I suppose it somehow makes sense that my Taycan went through Benicia on its way to Los Angeles... :)

Thanks, my freeze date is 10/16. I was hoping for the configurator to be up before that to potentially tweak my build some more.
I'd just go into your dealership and have a look at it with your salesman!

Any car that’s build after the 1st of September is a MY2021 Dealer confirmed my order is a MY2021 delivery start of December build slot start of November. Apparently it take 4 weeks from factory build to delivery here in the uk.
Interesting, I will be same then (Nov build/Dec arrival). Will search for info on MY2021 as a result now :)

Yup! We're still going to be getting 2020 models in until probably late November/early December. 2021 Models won't be here in the states until late December or early January at the earliest.

European countries will probably start getting 2021 models in late October.

Asian/Middle East Countries probably in early November.

Africa/South America probably in late January/early February maybe even later than that.
Yep - my MY21 completed production last Friday and is due into the UK end of the month...

Very well possible. Your car is a week earlier in and out of production than mine but mine is expected to stay two weeks in Emden, so departure for the US must be around the same time.

Whats the reason for this? my taycan is 2021 model meant to be delivered 2 weeks ago (delayed a week and they don't know why) now my dealer is saying its because of a recall its stuck at Emden.

Mine arrived in Bremerhaven on Friday but so far the dealer is unsure when it goes to Norway.

My story similar to yours. My 2021 model built 24th September and was expected in Uk two weeks later. I am now told the car is still in Germany (originally told at Emden, but thought now possibly still at factory) due to problem affecting cars on that day’s production run. I’ve been unable to establish the exact issue or how/when it is to be resolved so currently no idea when I will get the car. Have you learnt any more since your post?
