Finally took delivery of my 2022 4S in Ice Grey Metallic (sight unseen) last Friday.
Spoiler alert..holy sh*t, I couldn’t be happier!
the color is amazing and looks different in different light, but always looks fantastic and sporty and unique.
This is my first Porsche and my first electric car, so I’m reeling with how light years better this car is to drive than anything I’ve ever driven. It’s absolutely perfect for me! The power is more than enough for my needs, and I’m shocked at how well Porsche balanced performance with a luxurious ride! Incredible!
I have four things so far that are my only gripes.
- I have the issue that has beenidentified in this forum previously where my interior motion alarm goes off for no reason. I’m having to turn it off every time I leave the car. My dealership says Porsche is not aware of it, so have no fix in their queue…
- the center console lid is a ridiculous in how it opens and doesn’t stay open
- I cannot get my home link to work with my remote gate.
- the backup camera is horrid and instead of instilling confidence when parking, instills fear. The 360 is better, but I have to get used to best practices for using it.
The 18 way seats are the most comfortable I’ve ever been in, and the Burmeister stereo plasters a huge grin on my face every time I turn it on! Such well balanced, clean sound with deep bass I can feel.
the rear wheel steering is phenomenal! It helps the car park and handle like a MUCH smaller vehicle. Sooo glad I got it!
I love the neodyme trim inside, it is not goddy at all, and adds a bit of extra class to the chalk/black interior. I’m absolutely smitten with her and look forward to a long and passionate relationship!
Time to name her.
